I am probably going to be moving from Cincinnati to Florida for a job--- I was wondering if it would be cheaper to just sell all my stuff here and get new stuff there, or if i should keep my stuff and haul it down there...if you think i should keep it, is there a cheap way to move it? I come from a one bedroom apartment..big items are couches, bed, vanity table, living room tables, dining table and chairs, bakers/wine rack, buffet table, tv, stereo system---i don't know-- it seems like alot to haul down -- but also alot to replace (and my matress is less than a year old.)

what do you think?

About to do the same ,yself. Rent a uhal (or similar) and get a friend to help you pack it up. Have that friend help you drive down and unpack. You can return the truck down there. Even if you pay for your friends flight back its cheaper than buying all new stuff. And paying a moving company is just as expensive as buying new stuff. Good luck on the move!

Rent a U-haul. Have friends/family help you pack and load. It's really not too bad. I moved from Wisconsin to Colorado and had a 300 pound TV. We just enlisted one of the neighbors to help bring it into the house. It's a great ice breaker.

oh...pack it all up and enjoy driving across country. It is really fun and bring a few friends along to help you move. I have had a few road trips...LONG ones, and I have loved them all.

Have fun!
